This sculpture, titled 90 Feet is made from 90 feet of 3/8-inch rebar, hence its name. The base is 5/8-inch rebar. It is 58 inches wide and 48 inches tall. It is only about 6 inches deep as each piece of rebar is bent and shaped along the plane of the rebar base so it doesn't take up a lot of space in your living room or patio. Plus, if you hit it, bump it, or otherwise move it, the 9 pieces of rebar quiver and bang together to make the piece a rebar chime. If you have a wooden mallet handy it becomes a musical sculpture. This kind of sculpture can be made to any length, limited only by the size of your ready cash or 401(k).
